October Favourites

Hello everyone! It is now November and it feels like the months are slipping by so quickly. I got my tonsils taken out on Wednesday and I have to admit it's much worse than I thought it would be :( I am slowly able to eat more things but it's very sore! Here are some favourites from October:

Inglot Young Skin Foundation

I must admit this is my all time favourite foundation. It is the first foundation that has actually worked perfectly for me. I have dry skin in places and it does not cling to the dry patches. It is easy to blend and looks very natural. It does not look cakey and is perfect for young skin. If you have trouble finding a good foundation for you I would definitely try this one. It is €20 but honestly for me, so worth it!

Beauty Blender

I recently started used my sister's beauty blender and I just love it. It perfectly blends out your makeup. It can be used to apply many different things, foundation, concealer, cream bronzer and blush. It leaves no brush marks and almost gives an airbrushed effect. It is also really easy to use!

Gimme Brow by Benefit

I have been loving this brow gel recently. It is perfect for people like me who aren't great at filling in their brows. It adds colour and shape. The small applicator makes it easy to comb through your eyebrows to create your desired look. It is much easier in my opinion than brow pencils and looks natural! I have blonde hair and I use the shade light/medium.

Miss Sporty XXLong Lash Mascara

You might think that Miss Sporty isn't a great brand and to be honest I haven't tried many of their products to make a judgement. However the XXLong Lash Mascara is so good! It makes my lashes so long and dark. The wand is very thin so you can coat every single lash. I have received so many compliments while wearing this mascara. It doesn't clump and adds colour and definition while separating my lashes. An absolute must have for less than €3!

Real Techniques Collectors Edition Brush Set

The sculpting brush is the perfect for contouring. It makes it a lot easier to blend so you don't look like you have brown mud on your face! Definitely has helped to improve my contouring skills. The fan brush is excellent to achieve a subtle, beautiful highlight on the cheekbones. It is also very useful to remove excess makeup and powder. The setting brush is what I use to blend and set my concealer under my eyes and on blemishes. It blends the product effortlessly and is really nice to use. I also love them metallic pink colour of this brush trio! I would go and pick them up now if I were you as they are limited edition!

YSL Radiant Touch Concealer

This is a stunning concealer which creates a really lovely highlight under the eyes and on the cheekbones. It brightens up my face and is very easy to blend. I really like the gold packaging aswell and the little brush applicator is very convenient.

Denim Topshop Skirt

I really love this classy denim skirt. It is not too short or tight. It is perfect to wear with a plain t-shirt and it looks like you have put lots of effort into your outfit. It is comfortable and cute also. I really like the buttons down the front which add some detail.I am really happy I bought this as I know I will get lots of wear out of it! If you add some tights and boots it's perfect for winter too!

Favourite YouTuber

My favourite YouTuber this month is Sprinkle of Glitter aka Louise. To be honest, I never really watched her videos before. I would always just scroll past her videos in my subscriptions. Recently, I have been watching her videos and they just put me in a good mood. She is so positive and Darcy is so cute too. I really respect Louise as she has been through a lot and is really inspirational.

Naked 3 Palette by Urban Decay

This is my favourite Naked Palette by Urban Decay.  It is the rose gold palette and the packaging is so pretty. It is a very versatile palette which can be used to create a wide range of looks. My go to look using this palette is created by using Limit across the lid, Buzz in the crease and Nooner in the outer corner. I must admit when I first got this palette I didn't really use it much because I was scared of using the pink shades but once play around with it and figure out a few looks you can create with the Naked 3, it's a must have!

I got this photo online so you could see the inside of the palette, as I can't find mine :(

Favourite Film

This month I watched the film 'The Breakfast Club' for the first time. I absolutely loved every second of it. It is about 5 completely different teenagers who have to spend a whole Saturday together in detention. The movie is a roller coaster of emotions. One minute you are crying with laughter, the next, crying for a whole other reason. I would highly recommend this film to everyone.
